Day 1

Dnyanesh called me in a panic; we are not 2 more less; reduced from 9 members to 7. Manjit and his sister just missed the train. I told him that; Manjit may be pulling his leg, he may already have boarded the train and in some other compartment. But it was not a joke.

We had to work out options. Option 1; Manjit and Ravinder takes air tickets Option 2; Drop out; or Better Manjit decided to take his chances with “August Kranti, Rajdhani Train”; which runs around an hour later than the regular “Rajdhani Train”. His persistency paid off; Manjit got tickets and boarded the train.

We co-ordinated amongst ourselves. Dino & team decide that they will pickup Manjit and Ravinder from Nizamuddin Station at 11:00 am that when this train reaches New Delhi. Details of the adventure will be given after team comes back.

Day 2

I just called up Manjit at around 7 pm; they had crossed “Hardwar” and were just around 15 km short of reaching “Rishikesh”. The weather was pleasant around 24 to 22 degree centigrade, clear sky and no sign of rains. I have told them keep me posted. Dnyanesh wanted to MMS me few photographs through HUTCH but was having trouble setting MMS server on his mobile. I have send him some information; let’s see if he can manage to send me the same.
